There are 3 different size footstools to choose from (16" x 12", 24" x 16" or 24" x 24") but you could also choose a custom size.  You will complete every step of the process in making the footstool yourself - from drilling the leg holes, cutting the foam and creating the shape.  You also have a choice of legs for your footstool which are all made from solid wood and can include castors if you wish.

 

All tools and materials will be provided apart from the top cover fabric.  You will need to bring approximately 1 metre of upholstery fabric of your choice with you.  The course will run from 9.30 am on day one and we should be finished around lunch time on day two.  I can take a maximum of 4 people on each course to ensure you all get enough of my attention., You will work in a relaxed atmosphere and at your own pace. 

 

The course will be held either in my home, or in one of two village halls on the outskirts of Penrith - a beautiful market town on the fringes of the Lake District National Park, a stones throw from Junction 40 of the M6 and there is free parking on site.

 

Tea, coffee and cake will be provided throughout the course but you may wish to bring your own lunch. Accommodation is plentiful, please let Jacqueline know if you need a recommendation for your stay.

 

My courses are run on demand. Please get in touch to arrange a date.  If you are coming alone, the course will take place in my home in Langwathby.  The price of the course for one person is £400 including all materials except from your cover fabric.

For two or more people I will need to hire a village hall to work from.  The prices will be as follows and include all materials except from the cover fabric.
