Etsy Made In Cumbria Spring Market. Coro Hall, Ulverston

The Coro Hall in Ulverston will be hosting the Etsy Made in Cumbria Spring Makers Market.  If you haven’t been to this venue yet it’s pretty magical. An old Georgian Theatre with beautiful ornate features and a big red velvet curtain. A fantastic place to show off Cumbria's wonderful Artisans, Makers, Artists.

Lowther Castle Spring Market, Lowther Castle near Penrith

Postponed until Spring 2021

Lowther Castle introduce their first Spring Fair.  April is the time when thoughts turn to gardens, flowers and the great outdoors.  This carefully curated market will reflect the time of year and include goods and delights not widely available on the high street.  Held in the courtyard.

Countryfest, Crooklands near Kendal

Event Cancelled.  Saturday 30th & Sunday 31st May 2020 10am - 5pm.

Celebrate the beginning of British Summertime with us at Country Fest – a fantastic family weekend, with delicious food and drink, countryside activities, cookery workshops, daring stunt demonstrations, live music and plenty more for the whole family to get involved in.  Expect all the usual favourites – the stunning Kite Festival, fabulous shopping in the food, craft & vintage marquees, plus an array of other amazing events!  Make a date in your diary.

Etsy Made in Cumbria Summer Fair, Lowther Castle nr Penrtih

After the great success of the first Etsy Summer Makers Market last year, Cumbria's finest makers are returning to the Lowther Courtyard and Stables once again.  A wonderful display of some of the finest talents we have accross the county, this carefully curated market will not disappoint.

Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show, Salesbury Hall, Ribchester

Lancashire’s Premier Summer Family event, held annually at Salesbury Hall in Ribchester, the Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show was packed full to the brim of Showjumping, Livestock Displays. Art in the Pen, Thirsk

Art in the Pen is a well established and highly regarded art and craft fair that runs each year in Thirsk and Skipton Auction Marts. From humble beginnings, the event has developed into what many now consider to be the North’s leading art event.

Westmorland Show, Crooklands near Kendal

Event Cancelled.  Thursday 10th Sept 2020 10am - 4pm

Located on the fringes of the Lake District, Westmorland County Show is a fantastic day out – voted as one of the UK’s favourite Shows and enjoyed by over 30,000 visitors every year.  A major livestock Show with classes for cattle, sheep, pigs, goats and alpacas, heavy and light horses too, there’s plenty to see. Aside from the livestock there's also the craft marquee hosting some of the regions finest artists and makers

Craft in the Pen, Skipton. TBC

Sat 21st - Sun 22nd Nov 2020 10am - 4pm

Crafts in the Pen takes place each November at Skipton Auction Mart. The event has grown into a wonderful crafts market the whole family can enjoy, with 5,900 visitors last year. This sprawling crafts market boasts over 230 stalls, Starlight Cafe and free grotto for the kids

Craft Market Kendal, Brewery Arts Centre. TBC

Once again Kendal hosts the prestigious Christmas Craft market at the Brewery Arts Centre.  Organiser and artist Jan Huntley Peace emphasises that the Craft Market Kendal is much more than an art and craft fair.  This annual showcase of everything that is outstanding about Cumbrian art and crafts will run over three days and will provide the opportunity to buy high-quality Christmas gifts at affordable prices.

Yew Tree Barn Christmas Market, Low Newton. TBC

Fri 4th Sat 5th & Sun 6th Dec 2020 12pm - 4pm

Over 40 quality artisan stalls throughout Yew Tree Barn, marquees and courtyards selling art, crafts food & drink, antiques and homewares.  Harry's cafe and bar will be serving festive fayre, mince pies and mulled wine. Outdoor BBQ, live music.  Shuttle bus available.
