Memo Board Making
In this half day workshop you will learn how to make a bespoke fabric memo board to take home and keep.
These boards are perfect for keeping all your keepsakes safe - from photos to receipts, leaflets or notes from a loved one. Just slot your treasured item behind the ribbon and it will stay in place.
All tools and materials will be provided.
The memo board will be 24" x 12" but custom sizes can be made on request. You will have a range of beautiful fabrics, ribbons and studs to choose from but please feel free to bring your own cover fabric if you wish.
Each student will have their own workstation and tools so there is no sharing and social distancing is not a problem. All tools will be cleaned before each course. Face masks will be provided upon request.
The course will be held in one of two village halls near Penrith on the fringe of the Lake District National Park. The brand new village hall in Stainton, or in the beautiful Eden Valley village Langwathby. Both are conveniently located within a few miles of Junction 40 of the M6 and there is free parking on site. Accommodation is plentiful, if you would like recommendations please don't hesitate to ask.
The class will start at 1.30pm and will last approximately 3 to 4 hours. Tea, coffee and cake will be provided. The cost of the course is £40 including materials.
